Back to school

So the new semester has started, and I am in week 3 of Couch to 5k (yes, I have started over yet again). I have new shoes, a new bra, and a new attitude. Listening to audiobooks whilst I run has been very nice. So long as I can keep good books going (only on book 3 of Song of Ice & Fire so I have lots of hours left to go with those) I will have more of a reason to run than just getting in shape. I am going paleo again, because naturally I stopped that shit on the cruise, and it's been hard to get back to eating well. Lunchtime is going to be hard though, because I haven't packed anything, nor have I cooked shit since I got back from vacation. Not sure what my problem is, probably that I have been a very shitty grocery shopper lately, and don't have anything with which to cook. That ends this weekend!

So new goal for the semester is to run a 5k, and then keep running after. That was the problem with my last 5k in 2011; I promptly stopped running after the race was over! So by 2013, I want to be comfortable running for 30 minutes, and then I will try increasing my distance so I can have a rockin' hot bod once again.

  1. my former paleo latter semi-paleo GF moved out and took all the eggs! Then I forgot to buy eggs at the egg store tonight. Did you know some women wear multiple bras when exercising? I had no idea.
