Back to the grind

It's amazing how easy it is to get out of a routine. Last week was a fail week for me, both with eating and working out. Now it's a new week, a new start, and already I didn't do pilates this morning. I did, however, take Daisy for a walk and I walked at lunch, but I'd still like myself better if I had done my pilates. It's like I can actually see my gut getting bigger by not doing it. Or maybe that's just an innate girl thing. Either way, I'm working on doing better!

The biggest problem is sleep. If I don't sleep well the night before, then I don't get up to work out. Since I don't have to be at work until noon, it is very easy to work out in the morning. It's also easy to use the lack of sleep excuse. I'm not sure why I don't sleep well sometimes, but last night I sure as shit never went to sleep. My brain just doesn't turn off sometimes, and that sucks.
